Most of the Zimbabweans entitled to apply for residence in New Zealand under a special policy have applied by the deadline, says Immigration Minister David Cunliffe. "Since the Special Zimbabwean Residence Policy opened in July 2005, 930 Zimbabwe nationals living in New Zealand have applied," Mr Cunliffe said.
